Credit Controller – Temporary – Immediate start- Manchester

We have an opportunity for a Credit Controller on a temporary basis to be part of a Global Professional service provider.

You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team, all like-minded in helping one another. Having worked with this employer for many years, we are consistently told by successfully progressed candidates that it is an exceptional place to work.

Whilst some finance experience is required, extensive Credit Control is not necessarily needed as training will be provided for the right person. You must be customer-focused and be confident in dealing with people at all levels, internal and external. Candidates will be passionate about providing a very high standard of service and be keen to contribute towards continuous Improvement.

Key Skills Required

  • Credit Control/Accounts Receivable experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced role
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Pro-active approach
  • Good excel skills

Role Duties:

  • Update cashbooks daily including application of cash receipts in the Finance system.
  • Deal with queries which require investigation
  • Undertake all activities required to collect ageing debt including emailing and calling clients and/or their Accounts
  • Payable teams
  • Re-issue invoices to gain payment
  • ​​​Investigate and resolve any client payment queries, ensuring cash is applied to the account where appropriate

The successful candidate will have pervious experience of working in Credit Control and be able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder/customer service experience. You will be responsible for your own Ledger which includes end to end credit control.
