About the Role:

We’re hiring a Senior Credit Controller to join a leading global professional services organisation in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven credit control experience to join a high-performing, friendly finance team in a hybrid working environment.

You’ll play a key role in managing client accounts, resolving payment queries, and improving debt collection performance – all within a supportive and collaborative culture that genuinely values its people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update daily cashbooks, including cash application in the finance system
• Investigate and resolve client payment queries quickly and efficiently
• Perform regular credit control tasks, including chasing outstanding debts
• Re-issue invoices as needed to support payment collection
• Ensure accurate allocation of cash to client accounts
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve aged debt and maintain healthy ledgers

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role
✅ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
✅ Comfortable in a fast-paced, professional services environment
✅ Proactive, solutions-focused, and results-driven
✅ Strong Microsoft Excel skills
✅ Experience with continuous improvement initiatives is a plus
✅ Confident presenting information and attending meetings
