Payroll Associate – 10-Month Contract | Manchester | Up to £30,000

VH Financial Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Payroll Associate to join a fast-paced payroll team on a 10-month contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid UK payroll experience who enjoys working in a busy, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities:
✔ Processing payroll for employees accurately and on time
✔ Maintaining payroll records and ensuring data accuracy
✔ Preparing payroll journals and supporting reconciliations
✔ Responding to payroll queries from Finance and internal stakeholders
✔ Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and company policies

What we’re looking for:
At least 2 years’ payroll experience (UK payroll essential, Ireland payroll advantageous)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good knowledge of payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
