VH Financial Recruitment is seeking a skilled Payroll Associate to provide maternity cover within a fast-paced payroll team, managing payroll operations for UK and Ireland employees.

Role Overview

You’ll play a key operational role ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, handling both staff and contractor payrolls. This temporary role is perfect for someone with strong payroll experience who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payrolls for UK and Ireland employees accurately and on schedule
  • Maintain payroll records and data integrity
  • Prepare payroll journals and assist with reconciliations
  • Respond to payroll queries from Finance and other departments
  • Ensure compliance with payroll policies and statutory regulations

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 2 years’ payroll experience, ideally including UK and Ireland payroll
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
