We are seeking a Billing Specialist to join a centralised Global Shared Service Centre. Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring invoices and credit notes are processed accurately and efficiently across multiple revenue streams. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior sales professionals, department heads, and key stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and process client invoices and credit notes in a timely manner across both permanent and contractor revenue streams.
- Onboard new clients, ensuring all customer service and billing requirements are correctly established and maintained.
- Resolve invoice queries from clients, and internal stakeholders efficiently and professionally.
- Act as the first point of contact for billing-related enquiries, delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
- Maintain accurate client master data and ensure records are kept up to date.
- Ensure new clients are added to the system accurately and in line with company procedures.
- Assist with revenue reconciliations to ensure all billable activity has been invoiced correctly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of efficient finance processes.
About You
- Previous experience in Billing or a similar finance role.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to use initiative to improve processes and resolve issues.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
