We’re proud to be partnering with a leading, innovative, and people-driven organisation to recruit an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join their Manchester-based Shared Service Centre (BSC).
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled finance leader to step into a pivotal role—driving team performance, improving processes, and supporting transformational business change.
The Role:
As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you’ll lead a high-performing team within a dynamic finance function. Your focus will be on delivering operational excellence, improving controls, and enabling change through strong business partnering and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Coach, develop, and empower your team to deliver best-in-class AR processes and performance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key business partners across departments to align finance practices with strategic objectives.
- Process & Controls: Strengthen financial controls, identify efficiencies, and drive continuous improvement across AR operations.
- Transformation: Play a hands-on role in business transformation initiatives—challenging existing ways of working and supporting innovation.
- Insight & Analysis: Provide accurate, actionable financial insights that guide business decisions and enhance performance.
Your Background:
- Proven leadership in managing AR or transactional finance teams—ideally in a shared services or large corporate environment.
- Demonstrated experience driving process improvements and transformation initiatives.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of AR processes, controls, and reporting.
- Passion for team development and continuous improvement.
