Credit Controller | Up to £28,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits | 12 Month FTC | Manchester | Hybrid

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and proactive individual to join a global professional services organisation based in Manchester. This is a permanent role offering hybrid working and a supportive, collaborative environment where people are truly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update daily cashbooks, including the application of cash receipts in the finance system
  • Investigate and resolve client payment queries promptly and efficiently
  • Perform regular credit control tasks such as contacting clients and Accounts Payable teams to chase outstanding debt
  • Re-issue invoices where necessary to secure payment
  • Ensure timely and accurate allocation of cash to client accounts
  • Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders to support debt resolution

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven credit control experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proactive and solutions-focused attitude
  • Competent user of Microsoft Excel
